As I've mentioned before, I've been practising my drawing skills by drawing my kids in action and also drawing from magazines. It's been good fun so far! Below is the front cover of the latest copy of Psychologies Magazine, which is one of my favourite magazines:

The lady on the cover is Archie Panjabi who is best known now for her role as Kalinda Sharma in The Good Wife. I love her tough, street-wise character in the show, I enjoyed reading her interview and I really like this picture of her on the cover, so I decided to draw her. I left out the hand as I wanted to concentrate on her face. It's not like the thought of drawing her hand scared me or anything. No. That's not it at all.
I don't think I did too badly. There is a likeness there and I quite enjoyed working in pencil today.
What do you think?
